IT Project Manager

About the role

Ergomed Group, which supports biopharmaceutical companies in developing, delivering and safeguarding therapies in oncology, rare disease and other complex areas of medicine, is hiring an IT Project Manager in Sarajevo. The role covers the planning, management and control of IT projects that deliver technology to the business and hand over systems and capabilities into production environments, within agreed timelines and budgets.

Key responsibilities

• Define scope, objectives and success criteria, and create project initiation documentation covering scope, timeline, budget and output.
• Create and manage the project plan, governance, management and reporting artefacts according to the IT Project Management processes.
• Engage business stakeholders, subject matter experts and third-party vendors, and involve IT and business QA teams where appropriate.
• Manage the project budget and authorise milestone payments to third-party vendors.
• Monitor milestones, work packages and the critical path to ensure on-time delivery, and report progress, issues and escalations.
• Obtain business sign-off on completion, transition the project to production with Service Operations and Technical Support, and close out projects with close documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven experience managing IT projects across the full lifecycle.
• Experience transitioning systems or services into production environments.
• Experience in a regulated industry, ideally pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, clinical research or healthcare.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of Agile, Waterfall and hybrid delivery approaches.
• Experience managing scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues and changes.
• Proficiency in tools such as Microsoft Project, Jira, Azure DevOps, Microsoft 365, SharePoint or Microsoft Teams.
• Desirable: PMP, PRINCE2, AgilePM or Scrum Master certification, and knowledge of ITIL and IT service management.
