About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Head of Human Resources to lead our HR department in Zagreb. The role involves shaping recruitment, employee relations and HR processes for a stable and growing company.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse workforce needs and develop an annual recruitment plan.
• Create and publish job ads, screen CVs and conduct candidate interviews.
• Organise professional and psychological testing, either internally or with external agencies.
• Design and implement a structured onboarding programme for new employees.
• Prepare employment contracts, annexes and ensure compliance with labour legislation.
• Maintain employee records and HR software, guaranteeing GDPR compliance.
• Produce monthly and annual reports on turnover and other HR metrics for legal and management departments.
• Propose and execute HR improvement initiatives.
• Manage and coordinate the HR team’s daily activities.
• Collaborate with the Head of Legal and HR Services and forward documents for review and approval.
• Perform additional tasks assigned by senior management.

Required profile

• University degree in a social field; psychology, pedagogy, law or economics is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in similar HR positions.
• Valid B‑category driver’s licence.
• Good knowledge of labour law and proficiency in English.
• Advanced computer skills.
• Strong team‑leadership and negotiation abilities.
