Project Assistant – Data and Analytics Unit

About the role

The International Organization for Migration is seeking a Project Assistant to support the Data and Analytics Unit in Sarajevo. The role involves assisting with project implementation, monitoring, and administrative coordination under the supervision of the WB Program Coordinator and Data and Analyst Associate.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in implementing and monitoring project activities, including data retrieval, compilation, summarisation and presentation.
• Monitor project budget, verify fund availability, obtain approvals and update budget information.
• Coordinate administrative actions with internal units and external partners, processing requests and clearances.
• Draft status reports, correspondence, briefing notes, graphics, statistical tables and presentations.
• Organise meetings, workshops and training sessions, and respond to information requests.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Business Management or related field with at least two years relevant experience, or high school diploma with four years experience.
• Experience liaising with governmental authorities, UN agencies, NGOs and working with migrants, refugees or other vulnerable groups.
• Prior work with international humanitarian organisations in a multicultural setting is an advantage.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PRIMA, SAP and Oracle (strong advantage).
• Strong computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Windows and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
