About the role

The Grand Hotel Adriatic is looking for a professional Receptionist to welcome guests, manage reservations and ensure smooth front‑desk operations in its Opatija location.

Key responsibilities

• Handle guest check‑ins and check‑outs, verify reservations and provide all necessary information to make guests feel welcome.
• Monitor arrival and departure lists, manage room assignments, guarantee payment, and oversee billing and authorisations.
• Accurately enter and update guest data in the hotel system.
• Answer telephone calls, receive reservations and promote accommodation units and other hotel services.
• Maintain confidentiality of guest information.
• Prepare daily financial reports for the front‑desk cash register.
• Resolve guest complaints professionally.
• Record and supervise maintenance requests for room issues.
• Collaborate closely with other hotel departments.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar front‑desk or hospitality role.
• Proficiency with MS Office tools.
• Fluent in English and at least one of German or Italian.
• Excellent communication, courtesy, patience, independence and attention to detail.
