Junior QA Engineer

About the role

Atlantbh is expanding and is looking for a Junior QA Engineer who is passionate about technology and software testing. The company wants a detail-oriented person with strong technical skills, who can join a dynamic team of skilled professionals and grow their knowledge.

Key responsibilities

• Create and manage test suites.
• Write functional test scripts for web applications, APIs and command-line tools.
• Adapt quickly to domain and technical knowledge so that developers' work can be questioned and improved.

Required profile

• Basic programming knowledge is a must.
• Attention to detail and a knack for finding bugs.
• Ability to think "destructively" to improve product quality.
• Good written and communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic testing principles such as smoke and regression tests, positive and negative tests, and test cases and test plans.

Nice to have

• Basic knowledge of Git.
• Basic knowledge of Linux, including terminal and CLI commands.
• Basic knowledge of RESTful APIs.
• Understanding of Agile principles (Scrum, Kanban).
