Software Test Engineer (m/f)

About the role

We are looking for a Software Test Engineer to design, implement and maintain test solutions for our real‑time AI/ML image processing systems. You will work closely with cross‑functional teams to ensure high quality and reliable software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, develop and maintain software‑based test solutions for AI/ML image processing.
• Continuously improve QA processes, requirements and metrics.
• Optimize the software tool chain to support the development team.
• Collaborate on software risk management with cross‑functional teams.
• Implement automated integration and system tests.
• Analyze software issues and propose corrective actions.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Mathematics or related field, or vocational IT training.
• Proficiency in programming, especially Python.
• Experience with Linux environments.
• Background in integrating automated tests into a test framework.
• Familiarity with GitLab pipelines, Docker and Pytest is a plus; ISTQB certification is optional.
