About the role

We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a reputable Croatian manufacturing company. The role involves comprehensive accounting responsibilities, payroll processing, and providing advisory support to senior management.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify accounting documents, perform postings and data entry.
• Enter incoming and outgoing invoices, travel orders, and cash register transactions.
• Monitor and apply relevant legal and regulatory requirements.
• Archive financial documentation in an orderly manner.
• Prepare payroll calculations and manage payment transactions.
• Provide advisory support to members of the board.
• Calculate VAT and prepare final accounts.

Required profile

• Several years of experience as a senior accountant.
• University degree in economics or a related field.
• Excellent command of English (B2/C1) in both spoken and written form.
• Strong organizational and communication abilities.
• Proactive, independent, and capable of taking initiative.
• Willingness to work collaboratively within a team.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency with the MS Office suite.
