Clinical Research Associate II (CRA)

About the role

Ergomed is a specialist clinical research organisation focused on rare disease and select oncology indications, partnering with small to midsize biotech companies on early-phase trials. As a CRA II based in Sarajevo, you will perform pre-study, initiation, interim and close-out monitoring visits, on-site or remotely, to ensure that facilities and staff at the investigational site remain adequate for the study.

Key responsibilities

• Perform on-site or remote pre-study, initiation, interim and close-out monitoring visits
• Identify investigators and verify that they have adequate qualifications, resources, facilities, equipment and staff
• Train investigational site staff as necessary
• Support preparation of regulatory and/or EC submissions when applicable
• Mentor and train new staff and perform co-monitoring visits to assess junior staff performance

Required profile

• College or university degree in Life Sciences, or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience
• Extensive on-site monitoring experience in phase 2/3 trials, ideally in complex oncology or rare disease trials
• Full working proficiency in English
• Ability to travel; full driving licence required
