Online Data Analyst (Remote, Bosnia & Herzegovina)

About the role

The Online Data Analyst will conduct structured quality audits on spatial and mapping datasets, ensuring accurate geographic intelligence for global users. This part‑time, fully remote position supports TELUS Digital’s AI Community by validating and improving map data for Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct structured quality audits on spatial and mapping datasets using mapping platforms, search directories and GIS‑standard evaluation tools.
• Evaluate and cross‑reference complex business, geographic and cultural data entries against multiple authoritative sources.
• Perform root‑cause analysis when data points conflict, documenting discrepancies with precise reasoning.
• Provide structured feedback to improve mapping algorithms and geographic intelligence.

Required profile

• Professional fluency in English and Bosnian (both Latin and Cyrillic scripts) with native or near‑native proficiency.
• Residency in Bosnia and Herzegovina for the past five consecutive years.
• Advanced analytical thinking and methodical problem‑solving ability.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience in an analytical, technical or research discipline (strongly preferred).

Required skills

• Proficiency with GIS evaluation tools and mapping platforms.
• Ability to use both Cyrillic and Latin keyboards.
