About the role

The company seeks an experienced Labor Law and Employment Relations Specialist to independently analyze complex cases, advise internal stakeholders, and ensure compliance with Croatian labor legislation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze, propose solutions and manage complex labor law cases.
• Advise HR Business Partners, managers and other internal stakeholders.
• Draft, review and harmonize contracts, decisions, agreements, regulations and other labor‑law documentation.
• Participate in the development of policies, procedures and standards related to employment relations.
• Provide expert opinions and propose legally compliant, practical solutions.
• Engage with unions and other employee representatives.
• Identify labor‑law risks and recommend mitigation measures.
• Support organizational changes and projects with labor‑law impact.
• Monitor case law and legislative changes, adapting daily practices accordingly.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Law.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in labor law or employment relations.
• Strong knowledge of Croatian labor legislation and its practical application.
• Passed judicial exam (preferred).
• Ability to independently analyse complex situations and formulate recommendations.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.
• High level of autonomy, responsibility, discretion and professional integrity.
• English proficiency at least B2 level.
• Experience in a large corporate environment (preferred).
