Service Lead Technician

About the role

As a Service Lead Technician you will head the local service team on‑site, ensuring safe and efficient operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of wind turbines. You will act as the main point of contact for customers and collaborate closely with operational and back‑office teams to maximise wind‑farm availability.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the technical service team on‑site, ensuring compliance with safety processes.
• Communicate daily activities to customers and provide monthly performance reports.
• Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose malfunctions and carry out repairs on turbine systems and equipment.
• Maintain high‑quality reporting of daily tasks, snags and material bookings in line with internal standards.
• Manage service tools, vans and local stock, and uphold a high standard of the service point.

Required profile

• Minimum 4 years of experience in the wind industry.
• Strong focus on safety and ability to work under high safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead a technical team and interact with customers.

Required skills

• Wind turbine maintenance and repair.
• Preventive maintenance planning and execution.
• Troubleshooting and diagnosing turbine system failures.
