About the role
We are looking for an independent accountant/bookkeeper to join our team in Zagreb. The role involves handling the full spectrum of accounting and bookkeeping tasks for our clients, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and accurate financial reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Perform independent accounting and bookkeeping duties.
- Record incoming and outgoing invoices.
- Prepare monthly VAT calculations.
- Process payroll and related tax obligations.
- Gather data for financial statements and audit preparation.
- Compile year‑end accounts, corporate income‑tax returns and all statutory reports.
- Maintain fixed‑asset registers and small‑inventory records.
- Coordinate tax filings with the tax authority.
Required profile
- Minimum three years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
- Proven ability to prepare final financial statements.
- Preferable experience with Pantheon accounting software.
