Project Manager – Hydropower Proposals

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead the preparation of competitive offers for complex hydropower projects, including new installations and modernization initiatives. The role involves close collaboration with sales, engineering, and external partners to deliver technically and commercially optimized solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare competitive offers for large‑scale hydropower projects.
• Lead multidisciplinary proposal teams and develop optimized mechanical, electrical, and control system solutions.
• Define and implement project strategies in coordination with the sales organization.
• Document and clarify technical and commercial contract conditions accurately.
• Coordinate internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project scope and requirements.
• Provide functional leadership to international, cross‑disciplinary proposal teams.
• Maintain adherence to deadlines, quality standards, and budget targets throughout the proposal phase.
• Ensure compliance with internal processes and support risk‑management activities.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or related technical qualification.
• Proven project‑management experience in proposal or execution phases of large infrastructure projects, preferably in hydropower.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder‑management abilities.
• High resilience and capability to work in international, diverse teams.
• Organized, analytical, and results‑oriented approach.
• Advanced MS Office skills; knowledge of SAP, Primavera, BIM, AI or other digital engineering tools is a plus.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
