Senior Associate in Audit

About the role

PwC is seeking a Senior Associate to join its Audit and Assurance team in Sarajevo. You will work on financial statement audits, providing independent assessments that enhance the credibility of financial information for a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver audit and business advice to clients across various industries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
• Collaborate with team members and specialist staff to ensure high‑quality client service.
• Coordinate on‑site audit activities, including coaching and training junior staff.
• Supervise audit teams and report directly to senior staff.
• Leverage the latest technology to focus testing on high‑value areas.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in external audit.
• Relevant university degree (finance, accounting, economics, etc.).
• ACCA qualification or local auditor license, qualified or in progress.
• Strong English language proficiency.
• Proven ability to supervise and develop junior staff.
• Results‑oriented with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Willingness to travel and work long hours when needed.
• Desire to build a long‑term career within PwC.
