Roster Driver

About the role

The Roster Driver provides reliable and safe driving services for UNDP staff and visitors in Sarajevo, supporting office logistics, transport, and security requirements on an as‑needed basis.

Key responsibilities

• Drive office vehicle for transport of authorized personnel, mail, documents and equipment.
• Meet officials and visitors at the airport and arrange visa and customs formalities when required.
• Maintain the vehicle, perform minor repairs, and ensure cleanliness and proper functioning of oil, water, battery, brakes and tires.
• Log official trips, mileage, fuel consumption and vehicle maintenance activities.
• Manage inventory of vehicle and communication equipment, including VHF radios, and ensure compliance with security rules and clearance procedures.

Required profile

• Secondary education and a valid driver’s licence.
• Minimum two years of professional driving experience with a safe driving record.
• Ability to work under pressure, interact with diverse cultural backgrounds and follow UN values and security protocols.

Required skills

• Valid driver’s licence.
• Vehicle maintenance and minor repair skills.
• Operation of VHF radio communication equipment.
