About the role
We are looking for enthusiastic waitstaff to join the team at Silk Restaurant in Zagreb. The position is available year‑round and can be offered on a fixed‑term basis or through a student contract.
Key responsibilities
- Take orders and serve guests according to high service standards.
- Promote and upsell menu items, including food and beverages.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and equipment.
- Issue invoices and handle payments in compliance with regulations.
- Consistently apply hospitality service standards.
Required profile
- Strong communication and sales abilities.
- At least one year of experience in food and beverage service (preferred).
- Polite, responsible and professional attitude towards guests.
- Fast, resourceful and team‑oriented.
- Proficient spoken English (advanced) and basic written English.
Required skills
- Customer service.
- Upselling techniques.
- Basic cash handling.
