Indirect Procurement Manager (m/f)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Indirect Procurement Manager to lead sourcing strategies for indirect spend across the Adria region. The role will focus on driving procurement excellence, optimizing supplier performance and delivering cost‑saving initiatives while aligning with regional and global objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain deep expertise in indirect procurement categories, including market dynamics and supplier economics.
• Partner with the Supply Management Team to translate business needs into effective procurement strategies.
• Define and implement category strategies for local spend, ensuring alignment with regional and global goals.
• Execute regional and local category strategies consistently within the country.
• Identify, assess and mitigate category‑related risks.
• Drive innovative solutions and challenge business requirements to create competitive advantage.
• Collaborate with regional category teams on guidelines, KPIs and best‑practice sharing.
• Lead supplier negotiations to maximize value and total cost of ownership.
• Initiate productivity projects and build a pipeline of value‑creation initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with negotiated agreements throughout the end‑to‑end P2P process.
• Manage and continuously improve supplier performance in quality, cost, service and innovation.
• Build, develop and retain a high‑performing team.
• Embed sustainability principles into category management and sourcing processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of sourcing experience in indirect categories.
• Strong supplier management, negotiation and project‑management capabilities.
• Good understanding of procurement markets, suppliers and cost drivers.
• Analytical, results‑oriented and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Fluent in English.
• Valid Category B driver’s licence.
