Finance and Accounting Director

About the role

The Finance and Accounting Director will lead the financial function of the company, ensuring accurate management of all business transactions, accounting documentation, and reporting. This senior position reports directly to senior management and plays a pivotal role in shaping financial strategy.

Key responsibilities

• Manage, monitor, reconcile and control all company business transactions and accounting records.
• Calculate, verify, process, post and allocate all financial transactions.
• Develop internal financial and accounting standards, processes, procedures, policies and regulations.
• Monitor legislation, regulations and internal acts related to accounting, taxation and financial reporting to ensure compliance.
• Oversee liquidity, working capital and cash‑flow management.
• Ensure timely processing of accounting entries, payments, payroll and VAT calculations.
• Supervise the preparation of internal accounting records and financial statements for internal and external stakeholders.
• Prepare proposals and recommendations for management on finance, accounting and reporting matters.
• Provide professional guidance to the accounting team and develop departmental talent.

Required profile

• Relevant experience in similar finance or accounting positions within the hospitality industry.
• Knowledge of VAT and payroll calculation.
• Experience in employee and departmental development.
