Engineer / Controller in Metal Production

About the role

Horvat Production is seeking a motivated Engineer/Controller to join its metal manufacturing team in Ludbreg. You will be involved in product design, cost estimation, quality control and continuous improvement of production processes.

Key responsibilities

• Design technological solutions, create 3D models and workshop drawings for production.
• Calculate material and time consumption for offers and quotations.
• Perform quality checks at various production stages.
• Analyse work orders after production and suggest process improvements.
• Participate in customer meetings, review received drawings and maintain post‑sale communication.
• Collaborate closely with management, procurement, production manager and shop floor staff.

Required profile

• University degree in a technical field.
• At least 3 years of experience in a similar role within metal manufacturing.
• Knowledge of welding, sheet‑metal work, machining and finishing processes (e.g., plastification, painting, galvanising).
• Strong organisational skills and ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
• Proactive attitude, precision in calculations and a positive approach to teamwork.
