DTM Enumerator Consultant (Migration Data Collection)

About the role

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) is seeking a Consultant to work as a Displacement Tracking Matrix (DTM) Enumerator in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The role focuses on systematic field data collection and analysis of migration flows, with particular attention to Turkish nationals moving towards Europe.

Key responsibilities

• Use IOM DTM tools and methodologies to collect accurate field data on migrants’ locations, profiles, vulnerabilities and needs.
• Conduct interviews with migrants and record information in accordance with project protocols.
• Compile, clean and analyse data to produce reliable migration flow reports for national institutions and humanitarian actors.
• Support risk‑profiling and protection‑sensitive response planning based on up‑to‑date information.
• Collaborate with the DTM team in Bosnia and Herzegovina to ensure consistent data quality and timely delivery.

Required profile

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Proven experience in field data collection and conducting interviews.
• Fluent in English (oral and written) and local languages (Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian).
• Knowledge of Arabic, Farsi, Turkish or Pashto is an advantage.
• Previous experience working with migrants or for an international organization is a plus.
