Project Coordinator – Digital

About the role

The Project Coordinator – Digital will support the Effective Governance Sector Leader in delivering the EU‑funded social protection programme in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The role focuses on coordinating digital transformation, strengthening institutional capacities and ensuring project results align with UNDP standards.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage project activities with UN agencies, donors, partners and stakeholders, ensuring alignment with the Joint Programme objectives.
• Supervise the project team, build a high‑performing workforce, conduct performance assessments and foster inter‑agency collaboration.
• Prepare annual activity, procurement work plans and budgets using the UN Result‑Based Management approach.
• Ensure transparent, competitive allocation of resources, procurement of goods and services, and compliance with UNDP financial rules.
• Monitor project implementation, report to steering committees and guarantee adherence to UNDP quality and security standards.
• Secure efficient use of the project budget, approve expenditures and ensure timely payments.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience providing policy advice and technical guidance on social protection reform, digital transformation and community‑based service development in line with EU standards.
• Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary teams, coordinate complex multi‑partner initiatives and apply UN Result‑Based Management principles.
