About the role

We are looking for a civil engineer to join our design office in Zagreb, focusing on the technical development of project documentation for residential, commercial, industrial and other types of buildings.

Key responsibilities

• Preparation and detailing of reinforcement plans.
• Creation of detailed cost estimates for structural and trade works.
• Quantity take‑off and verification against project documentation.
• Development of technical details and drawings.
• Verification of technical feasibility of design solutions.
• Coordination of technical issues with designers from various disciplines.
• Providing expert support during construction, mainly by clarifying documentation for site contractors.
• Participating in solving technical problems and inconsistencies that arise during execution.

Required profile

• More than 10 years of professional experience in civil engineering.
• Experience in both design office and on‑site environments.
• Proven ability to develop detailed project documentation.
• Experience in preparing reinforcement plans and cost estimates.
• Strong ability to read and interpret architectural and structural drawings independently.
• Excellent communication skills for interaction with contractors.
• Professional exam and membership in the Croatian Chamber of Civil Engineers – preferred but not mandatory.
• Willingness to make occasional site visits for clarification of technical issues.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Proficient use of MS Excel.
• Familiarity with ArchiCAD and/or Revit (preferred).
